    And finally a flying shot of Boscombe Down’s FAW9 XH897 at Woodford,now,of course,preserved at Duxford.The youth in the forground went on to become the Financial Director of BAA International(My younger brother!)

    The ex Stanmore Park Javelin FAW1,XA553,now acts as a Gate Guard at Thunder City.Photo taken September,last year.Incidentally it can be seen in the background of the latest Will Young video!

    As the Jetstream 31 prototype,G-JSSD,is now preserved at East Fortune,it could rightfully be called an historic aircraft.Photo taken just after it’s first flight.
