    Southend

Just a Typhoon coming and going to Southend. Two are parked, one is spare.

Plus of course you can all see the newly arrived Nimrod.

2 x DC8 in Sunday, plus Flybe and Egyptair. Parking is indeed by the dead Dc8 and 747. Parking via a one way in – one way out system, the road through the airfield is closed. Spitfire, Harvard, Messershmitt and Stearman are main flyers 😉

DAS Air are still flying in and out today. I am sure papers will be shuffled and they will continue to carry on operating as they have done for many years. The UK CAA have no problem with the state of their aircraft or their procedures.

DAS AIR do carry freight into and out of Manston when they are going there for maintenance instead of flying in or out empty.

    Sheesh……..you people!
This is NOT a project, though the website does look poor it IS a genuine airline to keep an eye on.
The official news will be released soon. The airline does have offices, and they are manned so if you like you can prove to yourself it is real.
It may launch later than the site says or indeed never happen but don’t keep posting the same old rubbish about the amateurish site, spelling mistakes and unusual routes. Keep quiet and wait and see.

The coastguard moved to Lydd when Planestation folded as it obviously required somewhere to operate while Manston was closed.

    EGMH,

Great to hear that Esperia is a genuine possibility. It does look a bit amateurish in its current form and certainly doesn’t give the project a good start.

When will there be an official announcement by them and is the December start date a reachable target? I wonder if or why the site emerged before it was completed, ‘spruced up a bit’ and officially unveiled.

The official KIA website has yet to be updated about the intention to fly to the USA from next year. they need to pull their fingers out too.

I think the site is in early development, hence the strange glitches in it, like Moscow appearing!
