    Communications
    Tower 118.625 (23R/05L)119.400 (23L/05R
    Ground 121.850 (Primary) 125.375 (Secondary)
    Clearance 121.700 (delivery)
    Approach 118.575 & 135.00 & Director 121.350
    Departure 118.625 & 119.400
    ATIS 128.175 (Arrivals) 121.975 (Departures)

    Nice shots, I was there today. Do they use 23L for landings a lot? First time i seen it with my own eyes, another thing do you know what was up with the US Airways 757? I think it was going to go out but it came back?

    I went to Sainsbury’s car park @ Cheadle to watch her, funny thing was the 747 of Air China before the 380 must people thought that was it Also was a tad smaller than I thought it would be but incredibly quiet.

    Haha Yeah so true, because we knew the last plane took off.. So we was just waiting then in a dark cloud we could see a 4 engine plane, people were like OMG ITS HERE but over the radio Air China was mentioned. 😛

    Hi Matt,

    Some great photos there. I love the shot of the First Choice 767 aircraft.

    I noticed the sticker on the side to the right of the door, underneath the FC logo, something to do with Thomsonfly but cant quite make it out?

    And am I right in thinking that the aircraft in the background, just coming into view on the far left-hand side, would be an Air Malta A319/A320?

    Just out of interest, what camera did you use?

    N.B. Just before anyone cleverly decides to comment by saying ‘his sisters’, I am well aware of that, I am interested to know what type of camera!:D

    And lastly, welcome to the forum! Keep up the good work.

    Yeah that is an Air Malta, Thanks for the comment the camera is a Fujifilm S5800.
