Excel do have their own aircraft that are now on the British register.

I think LGKR is referring to the Finnair 757 that they are leasing in for SUmmer 06, not the old TF-… ones that are now G-VKN…

You may already know it, but just to clarify 🙂

What a tacky logo. i hope it doesn’t reflect on what the ‘new’ airline will be like.

233 i think is maximum on a 757 – ready to be corrected!

Hmmm… something tells me that the time zones in Flight Simulator are not too good.

you can get a patch for that – some external file i think that is downloadable from avsim library, if you ain’t got it already.

Really very impressive shots from everybody 😀 😀

Is this due to the RJ100 fleet going to Swiss-meaning lack of replacement aircraft?

potentially, but i don’t think they’ve all gone yet so there should be some cover

probably not, although they probably will try and operate as many as they can with it. I suppose it’s a bit like Jet2 and them naming planes – the LGW service is nearly always G-CELG “London” in the morning, but it is subject to change i guess due to operational reasons

Were sales on these any good and do they still produce these.

2003 was last delivery i believe. The plan was to continue with the RJX series, but that fell through.

I think sales were good due to its once unique STOL performance. Don’t know exact numbers of deliveries though

    Jet2 are using a BAE146-300 aircraft.

    3-3 config – 128PAX

Then what’s the point in leasing an aircraft when it holds nearly the same as the 737? I can’t understand it

2000km i think. so anywhere in Europe pretty much. depends though on other factors such as wind and payload

highly unlikely i think, but would be a very interesting development if it did occur
