Excellent photos of a scene no longer regularly seen at the regional airports 🙁

The view from the dining room at work! I managed to park in the loading bay below but you can see the Waitrose wagon struggling to get up the ramp and a few workers (inc. myself) having to use grit etc to help him on his way!

You can also see the carpark now more resembles a genuine park!

Nice to know I’m not the only Waitrose employee who has to go out and grit when I should be inside in the Checkouts – used to dread the early morning shifts on icy days when it was a given that I’d be outside! :). Don’t even get me started about having to do ‘trolley duty’.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be an absolute nightmare, if weather reports are to be believed. There is the quite realistic possibility of several major airports being snow-closed tomorrow, with the bad weather spreading north and west!

Not what I was expecting. I’m quite undecided as to whether I like it, though.

It’s gone to East Midlands – imagine they’ll bus them back.

Looks pretty foggy at Stansted according to the METAR, so that’s probably why they diverted.

Very bland. There’s a difference between keeping it simple and what they’ve got here. It’s just so boring – paint it back!!.

Yeah loads of people have been telling me about this today. I can see why as well – very funny. 😀

Good shots. Quite a few seem a little bit oversharpened from where I’m sitting too

Very nice photos. I like the angle on the VS A340-600 especially. 🙂

Excellent photo thread! Definately seems true that Salzburg gets a lot of Russian traffic.

Are all 735’s of BA going? flown on all of them except G-GFFC. sad to see them go. 🙁

Nice to see you back around, Ben – hadn’t seen you on here for ages until recently!:)

To answer your question, yes, I believe they are all leaving when their leases run out. Some of the older A319s are being cascaded to LGW from LHR, I think.

Nice info. Glad to see that the 737-500s are finally going !! (should add from a customer/passenger point of view, rather than with my photographer hat on)
