These shots are fantastic. My favs are probably the first and last ones, probably cos I like the 757 and 737-200 (hoping for one next week! 😀 )
Keep up excellent work & bristol looks a great place to go.
SKy news were showing a picture from an Airbus A32X on approach into London which was similar to the first one from A330-300. It is just like a volcano. Unbelievable.
Very nice shots there. I love seeing pictures.
Heathrow had freezing fog this morning so that was the delay, not the smoke really. The weather reports say no problems with smoke.
I don’t think so. It supplies to Heathrow & Luton plus others and no doubt they’re big enough to have other suppliers. Still, a very large fire.
My first flight for a while – Dinard to London/Stansted on Boeing 737-800
After takeoff
Gatwick Airport
London (The Dome and LCY)
Approach
Clear to Land

Landing
Fire Station
One of the Satellites
Parked up

and they’re starting routes to BALATON (HUNGARY), LAMEZIA & PARMA (ITALY) AND VITORIA (SPAIN) & BREST (FRANCE)
Mine’s 29977 miles so far. This is every flight that I can remember
A very interesting read and the pictures are fantastic. Keep up the good work
They may wait and see what the results of the Prestwick are. I don’t know what destinations they go to that are around MRS, but they do fly to a number of French destinations so they may leave it at that.
Me too. (I deliberately spelt MRS wrong i the title by the way).
it would be odd for Finnair to go Boeing, considering their short haul fleet is almost entirely Airbus.
Fair point but other airlines like Emirates have a mixed fleet.
If think Finnair are doing it well by taking all Airbus, as surely it will save maintenance and crews can be trained for all types of aircraft.
Well, I’ve got an EZY 319 and Ryanair 737-800 flight coming up in a week or so, so it’ll be interesting to see if any seat is more comfortable. I’m 6’3/4 also, and Charter seat pitches are a nightmare, even worse than Low Co’s.
but don’t the winglets that they are putting on increase fuel efficiency, so it can fly further?
