To be honest I’ve never come across this with Easyjet before, but maybe it was a problem with the airport flight information system showing the wrong code? I know that some charter carriers use the ICAO/IATA codes to differentiate between scheduled and charter services, but obviously not applicable for EZY.
When I flew into AMS some months ago, I sat at the front of our A319! You could quite clearly hear the A/P disengage even in the cabin. It was even more interesting as we weren’t that high above the ground! 🙂
Yes that’s quite right. Numerous times I’ve heard it disengage on an Airbus, even as far back as row 7 on a 321! For those who are unsure of the meaning of the sound it could be a little unnerving.
Am wishing you all the best. Get well soon.

Excellent photos there. It seems like that VIM 757 looks a bit poorly.
Beautiful photos of a wonderful plane!
Didn’t you ask this exact question a few weeks ago? 🙂
It’s on the timetable to be a Boeing 737-300 series. Have a good flight 🙂
Nice shots. I’m taking those are taken from the mound on the northern side of the runway?
I am no happier than anyone else that the cost of everything is on the up, but when it comes to flying I think we are heading into a situation where we will once again have to pay a price that realistically reflects the cost of flying.
We have had it good for some years, but can we really expect fly for £1.00 when the actual cost of flying us is many, many, many times that?
1L.
Very good comment. I booked 3 flights last month for travel in the next week for the grand total of £7.26. I’m interested to see how many of the 189 seats will be filled.
Hehe that’s quite good!

It’s been a MD83 for the last couple of weeks, apparantly, so I suggest it’ll be an MD83 on 30th Aug as well.
Good work Josh – getting better with every posting.
Brilliant photos. The first couple of A380 shots are stunning.
