Hey I work for a certain retailer consistently voted number one in customer service satisfaction surveys, you’d never suffer such appalling customer service here..
😀 – I know what you mean with the “don’t treat me like I’m somehow below you” comment as well .
I have to say that I don’t mind customers asking awkward questions or complaining as long as they present themselves well, i.e not screaming, kicking or bad mouthing (which many people used to). I used to work quite a bit on the Welcome Desk (Customer service) and helped supervise the checkouts so I got my fair share of customer complaints and queries. Naturally I helped them to the best of my ability but it is true that you become heavily influenced by the customer’s attitude. Quite often the manner in which people ask questions will partially dictate the answer you give (even though I know it’s the wrong attitude to take).

Apparantly Flybe have been reporting very good load factors on the NQY-LGW service since it started last month. This might be a reason why WOW have introduced LCY, as it would give them a reason to quietly drop off/reduce the LGW route.
Good shots, Tom. Thought a thread like this deserved more than 1 reply :).
I’ve been tempted to go LHR recently but been put off by the 09 runway config over the last few days. I really should’ve gone on Monday instead of LGW which was just as boring as I remembered it to be.
Smashing shots. There never seems to be a bad shot from you, Phil. Great work, nice to see you posting again.
Good snaps. That Nimrod is so ugly it’s untrue! (no doubt plenty will disagree)
Good shots. Always nice to see some inflight action!
I remember many flights on the 737-300, it’s a shame they’re now approaching the beginning of the end. I’ll never forget the time I was coming back from Nice and my mum suddenly goes “wow, the moon is really bright tonight” and I said “erm, no, that’s just that great big light at the wing tip!”. 🙂
Nice shots. Interesting 2nd shot.
😀 That is quite funny. 😀
Almost as comical is their £4.75 per flight debit card booking fee. They’re doing their best to make me not use them.
Great post. Surprisingly I’ve never even thought of visiting Headcorn, even though it is only around 30 minutes from me!
Nope, never used it and probably never will. Don’t see the point in it – Facebook seems more flexible and has far more users (none of my friends use twitter).

Nice shots – doubt the Inter supporters on those planes are enjoying their evening in Manchester right now!
