Assigned seating, Much more comfortable seating, and even little things like at DUB, a much shorter walk to immigration. Just something about EI that feels better.

Quite right. The non-assigned seating with FR & EZY really annoys me & the seating & cabin environment was far better with EI than FR when I travelled on both in February.
Keeping on thread, Aer Arran, when I travelled with them, seemed a very functional & professional low-cost airline (and they assign seats 🙂 ) and I wish them every success.

This incident happened in 2003! B-22603 was written off. The people in the truck were slightly hurt – very fortunate.

Aer Arran seem to be announcing routes every week at the moment, it seems. (I suppose these new ATRs they ordered need to go somewhere:). More good news for LBA whose route network becomes more interesting all the time.

Aer Lingus are starting NCL to DUB and yeah its a much better choice than Ryanair if you can get a similar priced fare

Really? What do EI offer above FR? Correct me if I am wrong here, but you still have to pay for drinks etc and at the end of the day, all you want on a short flight like that is a seat, nothing more & nothing less.

I 100% agree with you Peter, though in my mind they shouldn’t be building anything more in the Thames Estuary area – housing or airports!

I’m definately going to use that service again – £40 return is not bad and I love the 146:)

Well let’s face it, a 737 won’t make it to Charlotte & Los Angeles from Gatwick:)

    US94 06/06/06 08:30 N675US 333 CLT LAX 08:54 21M

    Definately N675US that operated it.

what so tomorrow at 1500 there should be a jet2 733 registered G-CELP due in

    Yes 🙂 – it’s scheduled for 1515 (my mistake)

I believe that this is a mistake on ACARS – it was N675US that operated the US Airways flight, not 575

That G-CELP usually operates a charter service to Olbia on Saturdays, arriving back at LGW at 1500.

I really like the FCA in particular, but all of them are smashing shots!

What a great match the Australia v Croatia one was! Full of drama, sendings-off, goals and chances. One of the best of the tournament so far. The 3 bookings issued to one player was quite funny as well, although I think that may be the end of referee Graham Poll’s tournament
