LGW is to become a diversion airfield for the 380, but at the moment i would guess they would use one of the remote stands.

The runway length was never a problem, it’s generally the width of the runways that need doing along with the strength of it.

It’s a great sight (& sound) when standing under a Jumbo on landing:). Good shots.

There was a typically wild rumour on pprune that 1 A380 was to be deployed at Gatwick for Orlando services, but highly unlikely in the short term I believe.

Splendid Jet2 and BA shots there.
