    thanks again Mariusz.
tell me please, is the Polish air force upgrading its fulcrums? and
the ex-German fulcrums, on overhaul, are they going to be upgraded? or is just a plain overhaul?.
    Camaro.

    You are welcome Camaro. Anytime
they are not going to upgrade them for now. Poland has a hughe budget hole and our economy is rather weak at this time. Maybe some other time.

They ordered 48 F-16C/D Block 52s counting $3.5bn in total… Alone by looking at the (un)realization of US offsets, that was the worst thing they could order… Not speaking about the aircraft… For that money they would be almost reaching Rafale levels.

Tell me about it. You are absofu..inglutely right 🙁

I’ve heard that the Polish airforce ordered F-16s from the U.S and to be delivered by the year 2010, will these aircraft operate alongside MiG-29s?

    Yes, that is true

Mariusz, are you going to put any more pictures on Airliners.net? I used your pics there for my desktop since the ones on your website are a bit small.

Sure, but now I am a little bit busy to to that. I am preparing a photo album with the air2air pics. The album will have polish/english captions so maybe more people will buy it 🙂

I will think about airliners.net after all

Is the original camo pattern going to be retained or replaced with the current two tone NATO?

No sure yet. First things first. The camo pattern is the last stage of the refit process and it will take more then a year, because of budget

Anyone knows about the ex-German examples? I have a pic of one wearing the original German grey camo with Polish number on the intake and marks applied, but after that I haven’t seen a single thing..

All ex-german MiG-29s are already in Poland. They are in Military Aircraft Workshop in Bydgoszcz and are going to be refit there.

Do you have any of the Po-2, which flew in formation with a large-scale model at Radom show last August?

These are CSS-13. I do have one in archives, but for now I am not able to find it. I am preparing air2air photo album and I am a little busy at this moment. But if You will remind me in month or two I will scan it for You.
