Thank you for the update, I had hoped you would be able to wow me with some pictures of grey/green in service, but alas a story of mix up and confusion will do nicely!

While we are asking about Newark projects could I ask about the Auster AOP9, I see the tail is now in a grey/green finish and wondered if that was a cammo/style used on the 9 (brown/green seems the norm). I can’t find any reference to it used on others but I do think it looks really nice and good luck with the project.

Not sure on that one, although it has been mentioned on here before ( she is XP282 ) I bought it from a good friend of mine who lives in my neck of the woods. I would love to find out more on its service history but alas google does not throw up much for me in that respect.

Hello David. I do not have a full list at the moment as I’m working out the boxes that it came in ( workshop being built ) but I know that the right hand engine cowl, prop, top perspex, fuel tank (can’t remember which ) wireless set 62, EM door release handles are missing. I will try and get a full list sorted as soon as I can. The project has come with a vast amount of spares and most of the smaller hard to find parts are with it so I am very lucky really to just be looking for a small selection of hens teeth. Thanks for the interest.

I believe VX927 is onto something as what they stole is worth very little compared to whats around the place. I bet they are stolen and on some scums fireplace.
