the front fuse and centre section are XL578 and one wing is XL578 but the other is currently unknown and yeah the tail is XG290 with an RAFO tail and unknown tailplane……
Yeah that site does not make it clear, If you pop in “kirkstead hunter” on your google images then this machine should pop straight up!
Thanks all and a new home appears to be found thanks to this forum!!!
haha, no we were just looking for spitfires as a bloke told us…..
Thats the very one, have you been or just very very talented with google?
Yes Im amazed I had not done it sooner but struggled with the photobucket website not loading properly today:mad: I find computers such hard work then they don’t play ball but will try another on the forum somewhere and call it lesson learned if success is achieved 😀
sorry to hijack the thread but I have often wondered how to upload pics so this is my first attempt.
Thank you very much for that, I tried but my lack of French failed me and even asked a local french pilot who was  (workmate). I shall be busy on the google translate later 🙂 so thanks again and if its what Im looking for I may be adding the logo/emblem to my A/C soon:eek:
Kind Regards
Jon
A very good read thank you.
Thank you very much.
If you PM your email and or phone number I will ask that person to contact you if he interested in helping (think he would). I see him most weeks most days!
G-BTTY, not the big radial you were thinking of:D but hey ho things look bigger on trailers I guess
Maybe it would have something to do with trying to drive any moisture out of your engine that sits on the upper surfaces of your motor esp when stood around?? The odd lycoming cam has been red labelled for such issue’s as corrosion
Anything that has a wide range of smaller types would be great, and anything on the Nord 856 would be top bananas ;). Keep us posted if you brave the idea and i will put my name down for a copy please:cool:
Its a genuine spitfire sir…..
