Yes I have. Was well worth the visit. Unfortunately a bit cloudy during Vulcan display. But what a sight, this mighty delta……
Will post a couple of pictures on the airshow photography forum tomorrow.

P.S. Can we have ‘our’ Do24T back please? :diablo:
How dare you!!!!:diablo:
No, I didn’t think it did…..I was just wondering if there were a lack of UK venues willing to pay for the Vulcan.
Although we have no reason to complain (after all we just have a small country), we have a lack of historic aircraft over here. So we are happy to invite our neighbours and pay for their contribution.
It’s for the Open days of the Royal Netherlands Airforce. Someone will pay the costs. Don’t think the Vulcan does it’s displays in Britain for free.
Yeah, I know. It’s just that you wait two years for something to happen, and it all comes at once.
You also have to realise that living down here in Plymouth, the logistics are such, and the weather was such, that last year it was impossible to travel to a show she actually attended. And I have contributed a lot to the project.
I know why she’s not at Kemble, it’s because she’s at Vokel in the Netherlands, displaying there and I don’t think the runway at Kemble is long enough, is it? So she can’t leave Vokel, and land at Kemble after that display.
I’ll catch her next month at Yeovilton.
Sorry to hear you haven’t been able to go to a show for a couple of years, Kev. I can understand your frustration. I won’t be able to go to Cosford again, it’s proving to be beyond my capabilities.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the Vulcan at Volkel on friday. I have never seen a flying Vulcan before (as far as I remember). It’s great that the aircraft isn’t restricted tot operate in Britain alone. Hope the crew will be able to find Volkel (because it’s Volkel and not Vokel).
Not bad at all. Here’s another one from the Formation Team Of my Gliding club (de Gelderse Zweefvliegclub). It’s from 1982 and was used as a trailer movie for cinemas’. Quality is rather poor and can best be compared with a film from a Spitfire Gun Camera.

If the aircraft is ok and the price is within budget………why not?
Very very nice. Thanks for posting.
Great shots Martin. Especially the glider pictures. It’s not easy to capture a displaying glider in a good position and close enough.
It looks very realistic. Only miss the beaches 🙂
Great pics. I really like the shot of the Se5 with the Magister overhead. Thanks for posting.
It’s a shame. With only a few airshows in the country, this was one that I looked really forward to. The cancellation doesn’t come as a complete surprise though. This has happened with Lelystad airshows before and the organisation was a bit to quiet.
Oh very nice sir thank you for sharing them with us, can I be greedy and ask if there’s any more where they came from please?
Yes I have a few more:

And a few statics:
