Spit IX (MH434)
P51D
Corsair
Fokker G1
Wow. Thanks for sharing. Hardly dare to put my own pictures here in the future. The 1st of the Hind and the 3rd of the Lysander are my favourites. Most annoying is the empty back seat of ML407.
He really needs a larger PM box!
Nice pics for next years seasons greetings card.
Great pictures and what a luxury that you can go to Duxford so often.
I remembered that I also took some still pictures with the 1Mpix camera of my Sony camcorder. Just found them on a back-up CD and cut the pilots out. Quality isn’t very good (of course), but maybe this helps the identification proces.
Nice way of telling the story “Duxford 2007”. Why not make a calendar of it?
An awful lot of great pictures. My favourite has to be the Firefly.
Hi GliderSpit, great piece of formation flying & great video, music suited it too. Do you know who the pilots were ?
Steve
Thanks. No, I don’t know who the pilots were. I actually hoped to find it out this way.
I had hoped for some scenes of Fokker military aircraft between the wars. But it’s an interesting documentary anyway.
Thanks for your message.
Fantastic news.
Open Workshop days at Soesterberg
I have been there yesterday. It didn’t look too bad. As far as I could see there was some paint removed from de F86 and the F27. Other aircraft on outside display were in the usual condition. It would be nice to see these aircraft under cover. There aren’t that many F15’s and Delta Daggers in Europe (anymore).
Today and yesterday the workshops of the Militair Luchtvaartmuseum at Soesterberg were open for the public. Main items on display were the wooden construction of the upper wing for the Fokker CX reproduction and the restoration project of the Lockheed L12.
A Lancaster, a Spitfire and fireworks. What more do you need?
A couple of beers maybe.
Very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. You can almost hear and feel the four Griffons of the Shackleton.
It depends on your needs. What kind of pictures do you wanna make? Why do you want to change gear? Is it just that you have money to spend? Given the fact that this is an airshow photo forum, I assume that you use your camera mainly for this business. If I were you I would put the money in the best lens that you can afford (unless you really dislike the D50). There will be better body’s for less money in the near future. A good lens will serve you a long time.
