It would be nice to see this Spit on the “Open Dagen” of the Royal Netherlands Airforce (june 15 and 16).
A new dimension in Dutch historic aviation. Where will it all end?
Top stuff.
A shot of RN201 being recovered from Beauvechain, Belgium, in April 1990.
Mark
A mark XIV with a 2-bladed prop!!!
These are really nice pictures. What lens did you use for it?
I can’t wait to see her in formation with MK732.
Good to see that this rare aircraft gets some TLC. Been there about 5 years ago and really appreciated the friendly welcome.
I even saw B25’s!! The program was very good. I didn’t have much knowledge of this part of WWII history. This certainly filled a gap.
Thanks for the update. She’s looking great. Better than new?
Isn’t it legally dangerous wanting to know the serial of a Greek aircraft?
I have no intention of taking pictures……….
which serial no?
Wow, an airworthy P47 with interesting combat history!!
The aircraft looks remarkably complete. To which status will it be restored?
I really like it. Due to the nosedown attitude the aircraft seem to go very fast. Could have been a magnificent photograph. Well done!!!
Deelen Airfield Museum
Great Pictures, would you know if they happen to have any photos regards JU88s of 4/KG6 based there around March of 1943 ?.
Been there today. I found only one JU88 picture on display. Not from a specific Deelen based aircraft. For more information it might be better to contact the museum by e-mail.
The fuselage section of the Stirling remains a very impressive artefact.
If you want to shoot new pictures of the magnificent BBMF aircraft, you will find the provisional display dates for march till may 2007 on http://www.bbmf.co.uk/displaydates.html
