Hey Swifter,
Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, same as you don’t check this site often.
Thanks very much for the info, all as I suspected. Don’t think its a replica with the company markings and quote numbers and such but doesn’t seem like a common production grip. Have tried contacting the company but no reply as of yet, hopefully they can help clear it up with their records, time may tell.
Cheers,
Yeah have had that suggested as well with regards to being metal not plastic which is interesting. I only thought Hornet cause we operate them over here.
Have had F-15 suggested on other forums so maybe that closer but still the grips on images look plastic as well.
Far and a way the most modern grip in my collection now. I believe it’s Hornet, anyone else know for certain? Acquired in Australia which lines up with the Hornet winddown over here.
Newest in my collection is this nice Canberra yoke, anyone got a spare brake levers lying around?
Well I feel like an idiot, thanks Lynx 🙂
Thought I’d share some photos of my projects 🙂
1st – Original, Anson, P-39 and Beaufort panels and my repro P-40E
2nd – P-39 Before and After
3rd – Repro Beaufighter progress, only need the Oil press (6A/560) gauges
4th – Original Oxford panel awaiting instruments I need to acquire
I have a few other projects going on in the background aswell incl Chinook, Harvard (RNZAF), Meteor, Mirage IIIO and a repro P-39 panel. My current focus is on collecting cockpit components for both Beaufighter and P-39 🙂
Found the pics of the Beaufort yoke, as I said it’s certainly in relic form and will be built into a memorial display with the other recovered parts.
It is original twine from what I can tell 🙂
I’ll have to try and dig up photos of it as they seem to have gone missing, it is very much a relic and I acquired it with other wreckage from the crash site to do up a memorial/tribute to the crew that were lost in the crash just haven’t time to do up a board yet.
Saw mention of American sticks above, i am searching for a stick to suit P-39 (B-5 from memory) and also Beaufighter (longshot) for projects. 🙂
Original Avro Anson control column has to be my favourite so far along with my relic Beaufort.
Also after one to go with my RNZAF Harvard panel 🙂
In absense of a 2020 thread I am after a Bomb Release Lever for P-39 for my original panel, also after anything else P-39 for my cockpit project.

Does anybody know what an ISS stamp might mean?
Have some ammo chutes here 303 sized with ISS1 and ISS3 markings. They also have a MSV with an 80 below inspection stamp and part numbers of 128536/128538 and 128533.
Any help would be fantastic, thanks in advance
Looking for Bomb Release Handle for P-39 main panel, last bit I need to complete my original Q panel.
Any leads would be great 🙂
