i ment the iac example owned by the aircraft restoration company.
It isn’t owned by ArCo, but by Historic Flying.
I was also informed that HFL is going to modify their Burmese Spitfire project into a two-seater.
Some years ago, we were walking near the coastline on the Isle of Wight. Just staring around into the open sea, when suddenly a Vampire came by, very low and very close!!
Another one (in Belgium this time)
Some months ago, I went to get the results of my exams, not a very good day (to many airplanes, to little homework, …) Walking to the exit of the scool when I hear some heavy engines… Looking around … the BBMF with their DC3 and two Spitfires.
That certainly made my day.
Yes it indeed had an accident.
The pilot intended to make a go around, but the undercarriage hit the fence and the plane overturned.
For me that would be:
Tipsy Nipper
Tipsy Trainer
Tipsy Junior
Tipsy Belfair
Tipsy S.2
Those last two will be difficult, as there are only 2 Belfair left. Two S.2 left in museums (but a nice replica will do!)
And afterwards I’d start my own Tipsy museum
(maybe a Spitfire to have some fun with)
Yes I already did that, no photographs
grts
I’d say it’s OO-EXK
Thank you very much Cestrian
That’s the website of my friend
We are looking for photos taken while it was still active (we only have 2)
Yes I’m still searching to find their civil registrations.
The German pilots flew them in their free time
So he’s going to operate two Seafires. Or is he intending to sell one?
He sold it some months ago, the new owner is Mr. Bryan Diggins.
yes Arm Waver, I know the Metisse.
Actually its not a Nipper fuselage, only the tailplane comes from a Nipper (c/n 11 now G-BWCT) the rest was build by the designer Cliff Piper.
Both CDTM and KASX are owned by Tim Manna, are they both going to fly again?
Very nice pictures Blue Max thank you
Landed at Antwerp or at Brasschaat.
No damage I hope?
