It was indeed one of those Cubs. Four of them were bought by a dutch owner and transported to Antwerpen for restoration.
They arrived over here during July 2008 (still in IAF markings).

Still 2 to go π
I’ll be there on Saturday with Glasair G-OPNH on a quick visit from Belgium :diablo:

According to G-INFO, PL344 is “Potential change of Registered Ownership in progress”
I flew a taildragger S.6 with an 100hp Rotax engine a couple of times.
Didn’t expect it, but it flew very nice. Very responsive controls etc.
Only negative thing I can think of right now was the lack of runway-visibility when you’re flying end of downwind.
Yes they’re both OK
It’s in a hangar at Kortrijk/Wevelgem in Belgium..
It will also be repainted (no idea about the new colours)
The OO-SRZ still exists and is on display in the AELR museum in Brussel.
It stands next to the unique SV.4D OO-SRS.

Yes it’s there (with HFL)
The rebuilt fuselage just returned from the Isle of Wight
They all look very nice Stephen π
Hope to see the Tipsy somewhere this year π
I’m coming over to Duxford friday 20 June, so I’ll see it then π
Looks like there’s some kind of Ryan-hipe

I’m not complaining… very nice aircraft
John Romain told us that he was going to send a team to Lelystad to fit a new propeller, fit new legs and do some inspections.
After that he hopes to ferry it to Duxford
