In belgium the farmers are way better 😉
This photo is taken in final to Antwerp Airport.
I have a better shot of it somewhere but can’t find it right now.
This one was taken from an SV4.
Yes I know,
It used to be based at Lelystad in the Netherlands and was then sold in Austria.
After that picture was taken it made the wheels-up

Was it ever repaired?
We indead have one in our museum at Antwerp, but I don’t know of any other movies it starred in.
It went to Ireland after the Blue max and had some sort of accident there (bending the prop) and never flew in the USA.
Now it’s almost ready to fly again 😀
a picture of it on the road can be found on http://www.asa-be.com
Thanks “low and slow” I was fairly sure I had seen one in RAF colours in the recent past. I think your photo was taken at a fly-in at North Weald and the other Ercoupe in the picture may have been Belgian-registered. The memory fades!
The one behind is G-COUP
That’s the first Stampe I’ve seen with a flat engine. Anyone know how many more there are around?
That’s a Lycoming 180hp conversion, it’s quite common these days.
I’d guess there are about 10-15 of them flying already.
His Buchon is in very good and complete condition. It would require only minor work to get it fully airworthy again. But for now, the plane will stay grounded.
Stieglitz
I have my doubts about the very good condition you are talking about..
It has remained in its hangar for years and I don’t think it will fly in the near future, except off course if somebody buys it (it is for sale)..
The work on the FW190 is indead progressing, but it will certainly take a long time to get it in the air.
Not to mention a case or two of de Konincks beer!! 😀
PS. Hows the Nipper coming on Mr Tipsy?
It will be a long term rebuilt, as I’m still studying and don’t really have the money to finish it off.
But if everything goes according to my plans, you can maybe expect it at Sywell 2013 or so
I just added some more photos to the website

Fantastic!!:) well done all. tell me, is the DVII airworthy??
We’re working to get the D.VII back in the sky.
It was assembled some months ago and it has also had its first engine-run. (the Gipsy Queen engine was overhauled by ARCo)
We still have to finish off the angle of the wings and some little work here and there..
Congratulations!
A couple of questions – what shutter speed was the photographer using? It looks like a ‘fixed prop’ rather than a rotary! 😀
Is it still on the ‘N’ register?
Don’t know about the shutter speed..
It’s still registered as N2262G
It was reregistered as PH-JWF for the previous owner Mr. Van de Flier
He owns both of them (G-PIGY and BEOL)
As well as a Do.27, two DHC.1’s, SF.260, C.177, …
EDIT
seems I do know which one it is..
Last year I was at Dijon and in a hangar there I photographed a Yak 3 also coded 21 white. That had registration RA-3364K.
Hope this helps
