Ren, what time was the DC-8 there? I stopped off at Monkton about 15:30 on the way back from Girvan. Weather was chucking it down then. Ryanair were back to there old trick of using 13 instead of the active 31. Depends mostly on what is inbound if ATC can route them out on 13.

10. probably!, it only carried enough dual fuel for about 8 minutes of burn time, then it became a glider, how long would it take to glide down?

had a look and the shots were worse than I thought, a bad case of the shakes. Also didn’t manage to get any of XM479 this year ( I have a couple from the static park in 2002 & 2003). Here is the least worst of the JPs I did take.
