Stormin, you rotter! but good to see a different view, and great to see the BBMF there.
I remember that 105 incident, the pilot was fine, until he climbed out the cockpit and hurt his back.
PL: ‘aaah Twin Pin’ the only Scottish designed and built aircraft in the collection.
Sorry it was only the 7/8 Paterson, but was good to meet you, excellent company.
Ren: yes, the Concorde does dress to the right somewhat!
Although I’ve had some good service and a few decent photos out of the Nikon 5700, I got so fed up with it wanting to re-focus just as I tried to get a shot, I went out and bought a D70 yesterday. Just have to get a decent tele-zoom and read the manual. I’ll never be as good as some of the guys on here, but, with their inspiration, watch this space… 🙂
BBMF are based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire

Slight error dodrums, TF956 was in fact lost in 1989 at Prestwick
Stringbag, you are of course correct, there was a similar discussion a couple of months ago, but the brain is getting addled now.
the last Sea Fury i saw in flight was at Prestwick in 89, unfortunately memorable for the wrong reasons.
Never seen a Sea Hawk in flight so am looking forward to that whenever it is. They will both be ready when they’re ready, but fingers crossed.
edited to correct year

edited to say: Twas worse than that, the shot was taken on the Saturday, on Friday morning I was in Lochinver (just about as far North West as you can go on the UK mainland)

Looks like a lovely wee aircraft, and can’t wait to get to OW to see and hear her, maybe Sept. But can I add a big thank you to yourself, and others like minded, for investing your hard earned cash in our aviation heritage; keeping these planes flying and allowing us, and future generations, to see, hear and photograph them where they belong, in the air.

Neal, glad you are getting under way. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
