So, is AS 15TT more potent weapon than the Sea Skua? I would love to see pictures of Iraqi vessels’ damage. Any action photos?

The AS15 has a better warhead than Sea Skua but perhaps a less effective seeker, range, ECCM, … I don’t know.

During the first Gulf war, saudi panthers have launched 5 AS 15 TT against iraki patrol boats. 4 have hit their targets with more damage than sea skua launched by british Lynx.

    apparently not a dream.
from an other report: a new commander in chief for the ivorian forces has been appointed by president Gbagbo. His priority: rebuild the Ivaf . 3 SU-25s and 3 Mi-24s have been ordered and 2 of each type are currently parked in a neighbouring country.

From Air fan n°299 (October 03)
What a french mirage 2000-5F pilot thinks about the RAF tornado F.3:

Against RAF tornado F.3s, we get a positive advantage. Most of them are not yet fitted with an aircraft/missile datalink and they only have limited launch modes. Nevertheless, one part of the F.3s fleet is currently fitted with JTIDS datalink which increase signifcantly its efficiency due to new evolved tactics. We note that tornados rarely climb over 30000ft whereas we regularly fly at 40000ft or more, even with external fuel tanks. It means that their AMRAAMs have to climb to intercept us whereas our Micas only have to descend. It give us a big energy/range advantage and we can engage them without any counter-attack. In dogfight, the F.3 has no chance against a 2000-5F because we can turn more closely and climb more quickly. On the other hand, when the F.3 folds its wing and dive into the ground, we can’t follow it so much its acceleration is quick.

It’s funny to note that french hawkeye are fitted with JTIDS but only use it with american or britsh fighters because no french fighters are yet fitted with…
