De Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10 WK518 over Wragby as I post
Why not the first letter of the company name as common in the UK?.
Do you mean like the,
Boulton Paul “Defiant”
Dehavilland “Mosquito”
Avro “Lancaster”
Vickers “Wellington”
all aircraft named after the first letter of the company name?
Aha !
Supermarine “Shrew”
Vickers “Vicount”
Our cat LuLu

I didn’t suggest that he wouldnt ever get a job -however fraud on the CV isn’t going to work for most employers!
As to a home – if he is striped of that – do you for one second think that the benefits won’t be coming up with the goods?
Fraud is a massive problem for him, no insurer will insure anyone convicted of fraud so he may have to walk to his job

He did a great job, he did what a professional pilot is trained for and brought the aircraft down safely including himself, no abandonment and no danger to the public with in and out of the airfield, deserves to be recognised for this, remember the Sea Fury becomes a brick once you loose power, the engine had chucked a piston, vibrating like mad and he still managed to walk away and is looking forward to flying her again.
Also John Romain did a similar job with the buchon, top pilots doing what needed to be done at the time, no panic, get the job done.
