1, Any guesstermations on a cost to make an authentic copy of a wimpy?

2, how much has been ploughed into XH558? (vulcan )

3, if a similar funding provided for XH558 would this be enough to produce a flyable Wellington?

4, I am guessing the fit out of said wellington IE seats, instruments, turrets would be a very easy task as such due to some being in collections?

5, Engines? are they available in an airworthy or potentially airworthy condition?

tooling up for the the geodetic construction I would of thought not a to expensive in relative terms as only a couple of parts to make as I thought the whole fuselarge of the aircraft including the wings were made from the same pieces but the way it was rigged over the former’s and longerons dictated the shape?

Well what a lovely thought, I am sure with determination and the correct amount of funds it is doable, I doubt I will live to see it.
I think back to the early 70s and wondering if I would see a P51 or a real 109 over our skies a DB601 E or a 605 was out of the question and the Buchons had flown the nests to hide away until Robs Lamplough did it.

Good luck to all concerned, I’m in

If the government put in one hours cost of WWII towards this project they could have it built, and full of a facsimile off every bomber from WWII, that would show dedication from the guys running the country.

my first thought as with Clint was German and JU because of the round holes within the main leg stanchion.

Well we now know not P38, so back to a German type.
