Cheers Moggs, lots still to do !
I bet PA474 is coming on leaps and bounds now as we head to late March
would some aeroplanes not be around at all if the museum had not been started? B.25 the Einkell Anson Lincoln etc?
Ahhhh See what you did there
Wading back through this thread was really good but I note with interest the user names not seen here anymore.
I am guessing some lost interest, some have past on and some forgotten their passwords !
Seems such a long time ago but then it does not, I can still smell the museum and of course the Beverley which had that ‘old aeroplane smell’
happy days
As far as im concerned I an very happy to see these aeroplanes returning to the air, the dedication of the owner operators is to be applauded.
Thank you from the ones that saved them from the scrap heap to the ones who put their hard earned cash into the projects.
I am from the time when it was rare to see a Spitfire even more rare to see a Hurricane,P51, 109 etc I am grateful to see on a very regualr basis the transiting of the warbird/vintage types over the house as the skim the southern TMZ of Stansted

A QUESTION
NH341 is being put through some ground running and taxi testing are the crew pilots or engineers?
Thank you Brian, I had looked at the FB account and its update was the 22nd February and why I asked the question but as a person who Facebook is not the be all and end all of life but I had taken on board what you said before. I am only generating a bit of chatter on the forum after all.
PS She is looking good
To be honest, the AAIB have done their report apart from pointing out the Hunter had some issues that do not seem to contributed to the crash it is a case of ‘To Low to slow’ and any conjecture here is just that.
Andy Hill is not able to remember the incident so as far as I can see if he cannot state what happened from his prospective then the AAIB report is conclusive unless anyone can produce other ‘FACTS’ of which I doubt.
Any chance of an update from the Duxford Boys and girls please
