I’m sorry to desagree with you Merlin, I think you are way of. First, the B-2 isn’t a SEAD aircraft, the only SEADs are F-16CJ and Tornados, which have to fly low to launch their HARMS, putting the aircrews in great danger even with ECM and Jaming aircraft present, second, Oil isn’t the only profitable business. After an intense bombing campaign against country’s military and economic infrastructure, there are a lot of things left for rebuilding. I’m sure American companies got the bulk of the deals and then there is a hughe market to cove once the companies are in place. Take WW2 for instance, before the European war, the US was quite isolated from theire markets, and with the Marshall plan in place, the US penetrated the economic markets giving it a hughe market for its products. I hope my views will enlighten you on the prospects of a war: purely economic. That is why American lives are risked: business.
