Do you have any other photo’s of Aeroventures residents to share please ? (With special emphasis on current projects & nose sections)

Hi Dave,

Not much help I know but the good folk at Aeroventure Doncaster have a Valleta cockpit under restoration. I’m sure if you get in touch with them the friendly folk may be able to help you out…

Wow, very impressive. Why does that same thing not happen to people on the St Maarten beach?!
Apparently (according to a collegue who has been) the sport at St Maarten is to hang on to the fence as a B747 gets to full thrust for takeoff and to try and get to 90 degrees to the ground without getting blown away! 😮

Dunno about the LAAS scheme, not seen anything in the SKYPORT since last summer…
Question is though now BAA are closing the visitors centre soon, will there be anywhere left to spot legally at EGLL 🙁

NH238 during the Doug Arnold days
Here are a couple of pics of NH238 circa 1981/82 first one in primer just after her maiden flight (post restoration) second about 4 weeks later after her respray.
Also have some other pics of the Warbirds of GB taken during the early 80’s so will post in a new thread if folk are interested

No matter what your budget the best bit of advice I’ve been given is to go for the best optical lens.
The Fuji S5500 has a 10X (approx 70 -300mm) optical zoom and is pretty good for static pics, the flying are a bit poor however coz of the shutter lag and its a bit rough when zoomed out to 300 but 1000% better than any digital zoom!
As others I have out grown the S5500 and now have a 350D as well. the example pix are a Mosquito (S5500) Beech staggerwing (Canon 350D)
just my 2 Euro worth
Thanks Mark,
Has anyone got photos of a T22 cockpit or a parts list so i know what to look for. Tried airliners.net and jetphotos net without joy. not seen one on LesB’s site eithr 🙁
Thanks for posting the VC10 pic…. spent a very pleasent afternoon in her doing circuits at Benbecular crew training. 🙂
