Apologies for dragging this one up from the depths, but I have an update… The model is complete!

The model’s appearance is based on a photo I found in a personal collection which shows a 1521 aircraft in this scheme.
Sadly, it is not possible to identify the aircraft.

Visit the crash site

The aircraft was destroyed in a mid-air collision with Lancaster W4103 (above) on 14;04:1944.

Both models will be on display in Flintham Village Hall on 13:11:2016.

Ah yes. Britain First.
They recently promised “direct action” against Muslim elected officials.

They also ran an “activist training camp” in Wales recently, which looks rather similar to paramilitary camps and not dissimilar to those terrorist training camps run by Da’esh. See here.

Purely as a matter of common sense, doesn’t this tragic matter make it incumbent upon the homosexual ‘community’ to adopt a lower profile ?

Why should we?
If we do that, then this sends a very negative message, and ultimately means the terrorists have won.
Also “as a matter of common sense” I feel it is time that gun control was brought in to the USA.
Remind me again – How many mass shootings have there been in recent months, and how many of those shootings were committed by white males?

And why have you placed the word community in inverted commas? We (the LGBT community) ARE a community.
If you think this is anything other than the case, you know nothing.

I really don’t “get” the criticism aimed at Matchbox kits regarding the so called trench lines (yes, they are noticeable, but don’t really bother me).
As has been said previously, they produced a lot of kits that no-one else did.
I can’t imagine anyone these days producing a Heyford or Wellesley…

I still regret not snapping up a (built) Siskin and He.115 a couple of years ago.
However, I did not let a boxed example of their Douglas Skyknight and Rockwell T-2 Buckeye escape last year.

There are quite a few groups that hate us (Google is your friend here), and would have the inclination (and the means) to carry out such an attack.
You failed to mention that there were hundreds of Muslims (note the correct spelling), queueing to give blood. Muslims that were also horrified by the attack.
Muslims that were fasting for Ramadan.

Incidentally, gay men are prohibited by law from donating blood in Florida.

A few years ago, we made enquiries to the landowner, asking if we could fieldwalk the Wellington crash site on his land.
His reply was “Which one? There were two in that field. One, maybe both, hit the tree and crashed, and there was another one that came down in that field near the road.”
The latter could only be R1223. The others were N2764 and X9941.
