    I like the paintjob…

…what were you driving that a Smart Car could catch?! :D;)

    :D:D:D

Icare9 – “TFH”, when used to describe the Smartcar, can also stand for “They’re ******* Horrible”…

What a choice we have. Football or Big Bore…

I shall quietly retire to my workshop and watch some paint dry. 😀

    Hello John,

    From Chorley’s BCL Vol. 5:

    Lancaster Mk.II
    LL686 QO-F

Took off 1940 from East Moor. (Training). Returned almost 2 hours later with the port outer engine misfiring. While preparing to land, crashed into trees 2140 near Ripon, Yorks. and caught fire.
All are buried at Harrogate (Stonefall) Cemetery, except Sgt Huggins, who is at rest in Bradford (Bowling) Cemetery.

    Hi Radpoe,

    From my database:

    25/11/1944
    Fairey Barracuda I
    Serial No.MX709
    7 FPP

Flew into ground in bad weather near Annesley North Junction. T/O John Platt Murphy killed.

As has been previously mentioned, the other aircraft is likely to have been Stirling EH988.

    Regards,

    Don

    Lancasters JB125 & LM308

Today we attended the Memorial Service at Hoveringham, below is a photo of the rather impressive memorial to the two crews.

    Lancaster JB125

Sergeant Sedgley was one of the air gunners on Lancaster JB125; I have a page for this aircraft on my website here.

For all the others that have pm me about various models,I will get back to you!! been working away alot and have to donate my time when back to the 5 urchins.Finished on site now so will trawl through the boxes to find missing bits…but as there`s HUNDREDS of bits!! so it will take me time.

No rush – Let me know either by PM or on this thread when they’re ready! 🙂

The “workshop” is a little full at the moment (19 Lancasters!), so those two will have to wait their turn! 😀

    Cheers,

TBH, I don’t give a chuff who gets in… As long as it isn’t the British Nazi Party.
Or the previously-unelected one eyed Scottish buffoon.

And, if I wanted to listen to someone spouting complete 80!!0cks, I’d listen to some conspiracy theorists.

I plan to watch some paint drying instead.

Are you a scale modeller too, GA? 😀
