    Okay, here goes…

A firefighter was working on the engine outside the station when he noticed a little girl nearby in a little red wagon with little ladders hung off the sides and a garden hose tightly coiled in the middle. The girl was wearing a firefighter’s helmet. The wagon was being pulled by her dog and her cat. The firefighter walked over to take a closer look.

“That sure is a nice fire truck,” the firefighter said with admiration.

“Thanks,” the girl replied. The firefighter looked a little closer and noticed the girl had tied the wagon to her dog’s collar and to the cat’s testicles.

“Little Partner,” the fire fighter said, “I don’t want to tell you how to run your rig, but if you were to tie that rope around the cat’s collar, I think it could go faster.”

The little girl replied thoughtfully, “You’re probably right, but then I wouldn’t have a siren.”

She looks to be in amazing condition! 😮

Shame there are no plans to raise her…

Are you sure you want to hear my repertoire of jokes?! 😮

Most aren’t exactly clean, very few are politically-correct, and the rest are rather sick… :D:D:D

    Great news.

Hopefully the missing crew will be found, and bring some form of closure to their families.

Well, I’ve just watched “The Last Dambuster” and I was pleasantly surprised.
    Quite well made, I thought.

I was particularly interested with Mr Johnson’s take on the events 65 years ago, and rather moved when he visited the crash sites of his comrades’ aircraft.

Well done, Channel 5, and a huge “Thank you” to Mr Johnson.

    Excellent photos!

Coincidentally, I’m in the process of building the 1:72 Airfix Sea Hawk – Now at least the model’s paint sceme will be accurate, even if the kit isn’t!

    Thanks Tim! :cool::cool:

Am I the only one thinking its time we all got out a little more?

A tongue in cheek comment, surely?! :D:D:D
I think the people that ought to get out more are the people that watch this drivel. (language moderated by self).

Incidentally, I believe I have found the ideal antidote to Big Bore, for those of you out there whose wives/ girlfriends/ partners/ flatmates/ pets are obsessed with this crud:

    1. Consume large quantity of alcohol.
    2. Pass out.
    3. Job done…

I’d rather watch paint dry than watch reality TV, Big Brother et al

    Actually I can. I’m a scale modeller. :D:D

“This is Big Brother. This week’s task is to defuse and make safe this pallet load of VERY corroded and extremely unsafe WW2 ordnance.”

I would DEFINITELY watch that! :diablo::diablo:

Wasn’t there an almost complete Avro Manchester recovered from the IJsselmeer during – I think – the 1960’s? I vaguely recall reading something about that one… (I could be wrong.)

I am in full agreement with Mondariz – Any missing airmen deserve to be found and recovered, regardless of the condition of their aircraft.

What do you propose to do with the angry , frustrated truckers stuck behind?

    S0d ’em! 😡

It’s about time truckers got some of their own medicine… Go for it!:D:D:D
