I do not believe so. Mum and Dad have just returned from Malta after painting the fuselage of the Hurricane.
I’ll be posting some photos on the Vintage Fabrics website as soon as I have them.

Glenn
I haven’t got any photos of the nose art myself but I’ll see what I can dig out for you.
How desperate are you for it?

I didn’t actually make it to any first flights as i was usually stuck at school when they took place.
School let us out early when RW382 first flew (as it was the first one)but we missed it. She was back on the runway when we arrived. We did see the second flight later the same day.
I was there for the manic few days when TE566 and TP280 had their first flights and flew into the Classic Fighter show at Duxford too.
They were good days…

I guess you had just jumped off the tail at this point then Bruce.

Add the ex HAC Mk IX TE566 (G-BLCK) that went to South Africa to that list of rebuilds too…

It has also been removed from the AVI8 forum along with another asking where the original had gone…

The Lanc was at Duxford for the Duxford Flying Proms. She displayed to the Dambuster’s March and then departed back to base.

Is the prop on the hurricane on the correct way now?
I was there at an ATC camp in the mid 90’s and it was on backwards then. The only reversing Hurricane would be something worth seeing 🙂

I had a quick look at the La-9 tonight. It’s on its wheels but the wings are still not attached yet. The OFMC engineers were busily working on her.
Looking forward to seeing it fly.

I’ve just added some photos of the Storch from the May airshow to the HAC website.

More can be found in the

Thanks for you interest in the Storch. Yes Dad (Clive Denney) is the main display pilot for this aircraft this year.
The only other display that HAC have lined up for the Storch so far is the Children In Need show at Little Gransden, but HAC are talking with many organisers so watch this space.
I hope this information is helpful.
I’m glad you enjoyed its participation in the display on Sunday. It is good to see it back on the scene after a long absence.

The wind was plenty strong enough by 10:30. I was the only person who parked into wind on the visiting aircraft side of the field and we tied it down too
At one point the Anson weathercocked into wind only just missing the Blenhiem. Parking the aircraft into wind would have prevented that. When the flight line is not packed like it is at Legends this is a viable option.

I made the decision to leave the Cub at Duxford and drive home instead.

10:58 local… I was still recovering from my 10:27 slot time at that point so I had yet to venture out onto the flightline. After we landed we I stood there watching some of the other arrivals thinking that maybe my landing was not that bad.
I have some photos but I will not get them until Thursday. If there are any decent ones I’ll post them.
