The waiting is over and the Corgi pre production models were launched at Duxford today. They look great!

If you are at Legends tomorrow come along to our stand outside Hangar 2 to have a look and if you like place an order!

Sopwith Dove

I think it’s P & A Wood Ltd at Great easton nr Dunmow –

well known Merlin restorers and IIRC the Sopwith Dove repro at Shuttleworth is also owned by them.

Do you mean this Sopwith Dove?

The Jaguar has been won!

We picked the winners of the three prizes in the MoM competition on Monday evening. Details of the winners will be released shortly.

Hi Stewart,

Have a look on the Vintage Fabrics website. I have some photos of the G-ARHP in the Completed Jobs section.

I may be able to find some more from the restoration. I’ll try to dig them out and add to the website.

Merlins Over Malta competition

This is just a reminder to say that the Merlins Over Malta competition is now closed.

You can download and complete the competition form or you can just put the answers on a piece of paper and send them along with your £5.00 (per entry) entrance fee to the address on the website.

I’ll pick my name up then!

The project is progressing well.

We are exhibiting at Earls Court at “Fly! – The London Air Show” in April and we have the Jaguar/holiday/Diverse Images diorama competition finishing the weekend of the VE Air Show at Duxford (thanks blueyonder, I look forward to getting your entry form!)

Stewart – I have no idea who you are! Sorry! You’ll have to introduce yourself to me at some point.

Keep an eye on our website for project updates or sign up to our newsletter (enter your email address in the box on the front page of the website). The latest edition was published yesterday so another should be due after the Earls Court event is over and done with.

Competition Third Prize revealed!

The third prize in the Merlins Over Malta competition has been revealed!

Handcrafted and painted in English Pewter by Diverse Images.
This diorama features a solid silver hand engraved plaque an exclusive signed certificate and a piece of Hurricane skin signed by five veterans from the air battle over Malta.

The winner will receive edition 4 of 12.

There is a complete Fairey Battle in Brussels. It once belonged to Charles Church. It passed into Aero Vintage’s hands before going to the Brussels museum. There are some photos floating around the forum of it while it was housed at Duxford during the late 1980’s
