I’m a ‘young lad’ and I personally find modern television utterly dull. Sure, you get some interesting programmes now and again, but it tends to not stretch any further than trashy lowest common denominator, ‘talent’ show rubbish.
However, my interests don’t lie within ‘that kind of thing’. I’d much rather build my model kits, read Len Deighton novels and consume military history books than watch any of that crud.
The problem I have with it (individually speaking) is that I get nothing out of talent shows. I strive for knowledge. That’s why I think Britain’s Got the X-factor is the television equivalent of popping bubble wrap. Haha.

    Cheers

Oh and Moggy. Radio 4 is brilliant. I’d much rather listen to that, than the ‘rap singers’ and ‘hop-hippers’

I don’t believe you or disbelieve you, because I don’t know what your secret is, so there is no way I can have an opinion without being told of your ‘secret’.

    What a mouthful

I don’t personally think there was any invasion, I think it was something either very controversial ie, a breach of the geneva convention, ‘friendly’ fire, or a genuine landing attempt (Very, Very doubtful though).

Yes I’d like to hear the ‘truth’, I’m not being dismissive or anything, I just won’t believe anything if there is no evidence.

Exactly my thoughts. It’s a fib of storkhotelian proportions.
