Tony,
Definitely interested (although I’ve never done anything like it before); be a great way to get rid of some/all of the aviation-related junk, I mean stuff, I’ve accumulated in the attic over the past 50 years.

Damn! You weren’t meant to see that. Have to kill you now I’m afraid.

And one trip in Lancaster Mk7 G-ASXX/NX611 and you know where that is.

Volume 3 of ‘The Bandy Papers’ by Donald Jack.
Maybe he had read E.K. Gann’s ‘The High and the Mighty’ and thought it might be worth a try.

Sea Vixen heading NE over Downton, Wilts around midday today. Haven’t seen one of those airborne since ‘Simon’s Circus’ many years ago.:)
HP 12 O/400, Wellington, Lancaster, Canberra, Vulcan.
Rotterdam?
Just spent half an hour on Google earth. Rotterdam it is.
Lovely stuff!
Does the photo say anything re- location on the back? The upper shot here may be from the same occasion: http://www.edcoatescollection.com/ac5/ROW%20Europe/PH-AJU.html
Regrettably, there’s nothing on the back of the photo except KLM photograhic dept stamp with a warning (in Dutch) not to copy the photo. As I can’t read Dutch, it clearly doesn’t apply to me.:dev2:

Do you have a hole in your attic roof and, if so, why does the water only come through after midday on Sundays!
You know what I mean. Another rainy Sunday afternoon spent in the attic.
Something similar from Rollasons, via the deHMC archive….
Most of the Tigers in the ‘pile’ at Rolly’s were eventually brought to flying condition and sold abroad (mainly to the US). By the end of the 60’s most of the fuselages were gone leaving an inordinate number of wings and assorted flying control surfaces.
