    What are the details of the book?

    A Google search does not seem to bring anything up.

    Couple of pictures of TP814. Don’t know the original source of the photographs as I have had them nearly twenty years and they have no details on the back.

    Any details on what happened to it ?

    It ended up being broken up for spares

    He was the Afdu pilot not Axis – sorry for any confusion. His log book and diaries have just been published and there is more detail about the incident in the book :):)

    It was my grandfather who was the pilot of this plane when it crashed!!!!!!!
