Thanks for that Bruce! But if you don’t know what it’s off, does anyone else?
Can do Scott, although it won’t be until Wednesday. I honestly can’t remember if the ends are threaded or not.
AM,
Thanks very much for that – I totally missed the type number and all the other clues which are obvious now you mention them! I couldn’t make out the last digit of the type number, and thought it referred to the tank, rather than the aircraft. D’oh!
Do you (or anyone else, for that matter) know what the tank is actually for? What would an air/water mix be used for?
That’s fantastic Plazz, thanks very much indeed. Just what I needed to know!
I have a photo of the fire extinguisher indicator panel in Shackleton WR963 just here. This is the one in the starboard wheel well.
Thanks for that Rich – you can’t get much better proof that this is indeed from a Shackleton than that!
Peter,
You’re a star, thanks! I suspect this is probably from an ex-Lossiemouth MR2 so your deduction is spot on. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation which is tremendously helpful.
Thanks for that, Tony, but does anyone know definitely what this is from?
I’m going to have a look, but there are certainly other pieces elsewhere. I just need to match them up!
Thanks very much for the responses, TerryP in particular. You’re spot on! Thanks to your information I did some searching and found the attached image, which shows this object is clearly an amplifier (the compact version, I think) for a Debrie 16mm projector. I wouldn’t have known where to begin to identify this one, so thanks very much indeed for your help.
Thanks very much for that guys – much appreciated.

Does no-one have any idea what this is from? Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I don’t know why but for some reason I thought this might be either Phantom or Bucc. I’m surprised no-one seems to recognise this.
