But the CAA probably wouldn’t. It’s totally illegal to ‘sell’ a flight in a non-public transport certified aircraft other than for instruction

That will be why my own and 1Group’s flight in an R-22 earlier this year was free then! Actually, we were made well aware of this fact.
Holty, your kitten (VERY cute) frightened my cat earlier! My own fat blob of several years decided to sit on my lap at just the wrong time, when up popped ‘the kitten’. It made him jump when this kitten which looks as though it was the size of something which should belong in a Goodies episode suddenly appeared on a 19″ minitor straight in front of him! He didn’t quite know what to make of it at first until he decided ’nuff is enuff’ and blobbed off at high speed!
Had me in stitches and he hasn’t been back in the office since! 1-0 to ‘the kitten’!! Lovely looking little cat – hope he has a long and happy life!

I can occasionally see down the flightpath into Waddington, here in Branston.
And we are within the circuit pattern.Tim
Tim, you lucky so-and-so! All I get is a view of Sheffield City (EGSY for thos ewho reall want to know) and I’m on the other side of town but live sufficiently far enough up the hill to see across, especially when the lights are on and manage to get a nice view of the odd Ceesna or Beech lobbing in. More usually though, it’s South Yorks Police Helicopter (MD902 Explorer G-SYPS) chasing crims around! The runway looks good at night with the lights on though.
This film ought to go into the ‘Movies That Scared You’ thread over on General Discussion! Frightened the willies out of me watching it as it’s horrifyingly bad!
Chris
This is mine of Breighton’s P-51D ‘Susy‘ which I took up there at the Radial Fly In earlier this year. Chris.

screen grabs
So how do you do a screen grab then ?
You might like to try the same freebie I use called Screen Grab Pro. Really easy to use programme which can be found here: http://www.traction-software.co.uk/screengrabpro/

I’d forgotten about the Lovejoy episode.
Barry Hines’ ‘Threads’ has a very fleeting glimpse of a couple of F-4s during the build up to the nuclear exchange (DOH! That’s war-related!)
Also, back in the seventies, there was a children’s TV adventure serial which at one point featured Ormond Haydon-Baillie’s T-33 ‘Black Knight’ – anyone any ideas?
Chris
Thanks Vern. It’s been decades since I saw it.
There was also a CASA 2.111 (Heinkel 111) in Red Dwarf!
Dave, which episode was that?
Chris
The USAF aircraft in that Star Trek was a F-104 Starfighter
Thanks Vern! Ages since I’ve seen it and even had to look up the episode title to make sure at least got that bit right, although none I could see identify the aircraft. It was a VERY quick trawl though!
Chris
Star Trek
The episode ‘Tomorrow is Yesterday’, where Enterprise is thrown back to late 1960s and is intercepted by F-86s (I think) and one of the pilots is beamed on board.
Be interested to see what answers arise as I’ve always wanted to nkow this as well!
Chris
Yes, a good book, but mostly text. It won’t help much with the requested cockpit / internal structure / engine details, which are well covered in the MMP volume.
Agreed Mike, but a cracking bibliography which may be of use? I haven’t seen the MMP volume but I don’t doubt it’s usefulness for such a research query though.
Chris.
