I don’t think Thomas Cook have them anymore. WYSIWYG can probably confirm that for you.
I don’t yet! Only a normal uniform with one strip!!! Hats are only for graduate pilots I guess!!! 😀
Thanks once again guys, your good luck messages are obviously having a major effect. Our first day of Crew Resource Management took place today and was a real success despite the fact that the day started on a worrying note highlighting crashes that have been caused by bad team work on the flight deck.
Wys, the ex-FA (Emma) worked for Go from the first day of operations until the day before they were handed the new easyJet uniforms after the takeover. She really loved the airline. It’s a pitty they are no longer flying.
Well, I can safely say that today was the best day of my life!!! There’s 21 of us on the course and from the outset we got on amazingly well. There’s 19 guys and 2 girls. Today was a basic introduction to the school, uniform fitting etc. Then all of us went to the pub for what was one of the most enjoyable evenings of my life. We’re a very wide range of people, ranging from me, a seventeen year old, to an ex stewardess and business men!
I’ll keep you all updated, only 8 hours until I have to be back up there!
Thanks a lot guys your support really is much appreciated. I’m just about to set off for OAT, I’ll post a report this evening 😉
If you have a student card or are under 25 you can book on http://www.statravel.co.uk. I got tickets to New York for £182, but you can get even cheaper if you go with Air India or alike. The £182 is for BA inc taxes and Virgin are about £200 inc taxes.
We beat the scum 1-0…..I rest my case, and my football hooliganism!!
T5, the majority of my models are Schabak 1/600. Ren, I’m thinking about getting the VS A340-600 or the LH A340-600 from Herpa, is it a detailed model?
I’ve always found the 757-200 to have a brilliant powerful take off and a very nice angle as well 🙂 The 732 is also spectacular with the olds engines it’s very powerful and has a spring in it’s step 🙂
oh dear oh dear oh dear, mine was ‘The Chicken Song’ by Spitting Image!!

Thanks for that Dan. I wasn’t aware that the airport was open on Saturday mornings.
Yeah I saw that on the LCY site today! Good news indeed, it should see some new routes that require less capacity being launched from the airport hopefully.
Wonderful pictures Kev! I wasn’t aware that any of the BA BAe 146 were still in the world tails liveries.
Thanks for the tip guys, I’ll definatley have a look round while I’m there. It’s actually my first visit to Spain so I’ll be very interested to see what it has to offer.
