Flybe also sponsor Exeter don’t they, and I think they have agreed something with Portsmouth as well, but I”m not 100% sure on that one.
Ah well…..looks brilliant anyway mate!
The hottest ever temp in the UK is 37.1C, yesterday it got up to 34.4 here in Oxford, apprently we’re in for even hotter weather on Saturday.
It doesn’t seem to have affected the operations at Brize Norton or Kidlington though.
Brilliant aircraft, it’s a shame to see it go. I was resuced by a MYT 10-30 last year when our Monarch A300 went tech and failed to show up in Lyon. A MYT crew flew down from Manchester in the 10-30 and flew us back to Gatwick. It was a wonderful aircraft to fly.
They were purchased by KLM and became KLMuk which subsequently split and became Buzz and the other half was recently merged with KLM Cityhopper. Buzz is now part of Ryanair.
I think once again it is something to do with the fact that Concorde expands in flight meaning that it cannot have as much paint on it.
Welcome to the forum Dean, I hope you enjoy it, you’re in for some very interesting discussions! 😀
I like your signature, I have the same quote on my email signature ;)…a bit of needless trivia there!
I’d like to see a feature on Dresden Airport and some of the smaller regional airports in Europe such as Blackpool.
I heard this story on an aviation news site…can’t remember which one now, sorry. But I haven’t heard anything else on it yet.
Ah right, that explains a lot. Thanks for that Kev.
Kev,
I saw that Maersk/Duo CRJ200 at Munich yesterday and was wondering about the livery. Are they ending their franchise with BA?
They come in from Rotterdam.
That’s awful news, such a sad state of affairs. If he is looking for a 737NG rating the best palce to get it GECAT in Bournemouth, they charge £18k for a type rating. Ryanair appoint directly from them.
All the best to him.
That’s a good point actually, I wouldn’t want to see it chopped up, so much of it’s beauty lies in the wings!
Nice to see a lot of UK museums there, afterall it’s a European aircraft and the majority should stay here.
I’d love to see one at T5 and the science museum!
