I loved Philadelphia when I flew through it. US AIrways country, but there were quite a few United aircraft around as well as a lot of oversea carriers.

If anyone does want to see an airport modeled just go to our forum on the web site and request it. We’ll happily look into any suggestions.

We always visit the airports we model, I’m on my way up for a final visit to Blackpool on the 24th and I’ve been invited on an airside tour to help perfect the product.

So if you want to see an airport modelled we’d be happy to look into it, and if you wanted to meet us to discuss what you’d like to see and give us a tour of your airport we’d be happy to do so 🙂

We are currently looking into doing a channel Islands package in the near future.

After Blackpool 2003 is released we will be announcing our new project. This is currently under wraps, but we think it’s quite exciting. It’s a package of some UK commerical airports that have never been seen in flight sim before…but I’m keeping my lips sealed.

    Thanks for your support 🙂

I probably won’t make it into the Towns/Cities. When I flew to Blackpool I spent the majority of the day in the town as I already knew it well due to having family who live nearby and competing in various fencing tournaments there over the years.

This time I’ll just be staying at the airport having a look round and of course having the private tour 😉

I don’t think I’ll risk trying to make it into Dublin, I’ve heard the airport is quite far out and I only have 4 hours there. At least I get some good quality photography time 🙂

BTW, my signature pic was taken at Blackpool, it’s G-UKAC, the aircraft I flew on the first time I went up there.

What is it with Boeing at the moment, they can’t seem to settle on anything, we had the 747X program – Cancelled, The Sonic Cruiser – Cancelled. To be honest I don’t think the 7E7 will ever make it into the skies, no wonder they are now trailing behind Airbus.

Swansea Airport desperately needs expanding, it can barely cope with current services. The Terminal in particular is little more than a shack!

I’d have to agree with you A330, I think Manston would make a great LoCo hub, it already has the facilities in terms of that huge runway.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to start full comercial operations from either of these airports. I know Manston has been hyped up many a time as a good location for a new hub but I haven’t seen anything recently.

I think the 747-400D (Domestic) can take 550 people in a single class configuration.

Well said Duesseldwarf, I completely agree. I’ve often felt there is quite a lot of hostility in the forums towards Ryanair, but my personal opinion of Ryanair is a very positive one. I’ve flown with them several times and they have always been very good, in fact sometimes I’ve felt I got more than I paid for, especially when I’m paying just 1p for a flight!

Ryanair have been very helpful in my career progression and as I have said in the past they look like the most likely prospect for me when I graduate from flight school and I must say it is an airline I would be proud to fly for.

Happy Birthday Minidoh! I’ve got several copies of Handling the Big jets, it’s a great book, very informative especially for the prospective airline pilot, I hope you enjoy it.
