    Sadly it would appear the damage has already been done. The constant exageration of minor technical errors, particularly by the British press has helped to halve load figures for Concorde.

    We have already seen a cut in daily flights and there have been many reports of the aircraft flying with load figures of under 40% on some flights. The aircraft has recently slipped back into making a loss for BA and the Air France situation hasn’t looked much better.

    I guess we will just wait and see, this report may well just be another false alarm, but I wouldn’t be suprised if BA confirmed Concordes retirement within the next few weeks or months

    Supanet aren’t being very clear about this, they are saying that Concorde will be retired within the next couple of months, but they give no quotes or dates, it does seem to be unconfirmed at the moment.

    The news popped up on Supanet about 15 minutes ago. I checked BA but they haven’t said anything yet.

    I’ve been to Prague seven times and I love it. I used to have family over there so I was a frequent visitor to Ruznye, but that was before the low cost boom, when I went I flew on BA, Excalibur, GB Airways, bmi and CSA. It’s a great place and I hope to go back in the summer.

    As for Ryanair, well according to Michael O’leary they aren’t interested in entering the Eastern European market, however it has been rumored that Ryanair plan to fly into the Czech Republic into a former military base about 30 Miles North East of Prague.

    It’s good, but I preffered to old livery. I dare say I’ll get used to it though! 🙂
