Dec 1992 LHR to PRG, not sure of the aircraft although I remember it was with BA, might have been a 757.

Great photos Andy, I must confess I didn’t catch the first thread or the proverbial worm! Love the Excalibur shot, they were my all time favourite airline…much missed.

Right, if you have a multi-engine CPL you have a multi-engine rating which is always valid, however you have to get a multi-engine IR as well, otherwise you can only fly IFR in a single and no airline will be interested in that! Best to just CPL in a single and then IR in a multi, but all multi hours are important!

All I can say is if i ran an airline customer service would be no.1 on the list of priorities 😀

Flew Aer Lingus in November last year from Heathrow to Dublin and really didn’t rate them. Service was identical to Ryanair at four times the price.

Both between 130 kts and 160 kts on average. As DME says it really depends on load, if it’s near empty I’ve heard of 757s landing at 108kts.

in reply to: Pilots, how long are your stopovers? #750585

BA crews usually get 24 hours stopover on flights to the East Coast. So day 1 they fly there, day 2 they rest, day 3 they fly back. European flights only tend to be one night.
