2 questions:
1. Is triple ace Spector one of the older if not the oldest pilot to participate in the raid ?
2. Why didn’t they use the F-4E as the strike element for the raid ?

The Viggen looks cool in black! Is it privately owned ?
I wished the SAF tried selling the “used” Viggens instead of just scrapping them. Amazing planes they are albeit a bit short legged.
The TigerII(F-5E) was not even in the developmental stage at the time you are reffering to.The only F-5 variant serving in Vietnam(and in existence) at that time was the Freedom Fighter(F-5A/B).
On the contrary actually. The US gave the Saigon goverment F-5A/B, F-5C and F-5E. Will find a photo if needed.
Thanks Flanker_Man
What about the S-55 that became a single seater(the one which had its model stolen)…was it a fighter project for export ?
Hwang could also very likely be a Korean.
I know the RAAF has a few female wizzos.

Why must all 5th Generation fighter concepts have the F-22 Lightning III like tail ?
I think the J-12 can still look original if it looked like these…although i like 611 the best.
Shafagh looks a bit like a single engine Hornet. Has it flown yet ?
I hope the Gripen deals goes through…otherwise i only see them getting more F-16 ADFs.
Are those F-4Fs of Molders and Westfalen full ICE versions ?
Apologies if the post sounded a bit odd. I was looking for F-15S stuff but instead found this thread that seem to comment(albeit from a more negative aspect) on RSAF training and maintenance.
Guys is this stuff true in any part ?
