    Weren’t there B-29’s at Waddington in the 50’s?
    Or were they known as B-50’s then?

    I’ve found that there was a mid-air collision between 2 C-47A’s at Waddington in Aug 1944. Maybe from that?

    However, I’ve also found that the ‘A’ over ‘541’ inside a B (top left) relates to B-29’s ???
