    Hutt River THE END !!!

I’ve just seen in my mail-box the (same !) final reply !!!

    Thank you for your email.

I am afraid that we are unable to help with your request as we have little information about the Royal Hutt River Air Force which was mothballed many years ago.
You can find some of the insignia shown on the home page of the RHRDF here http://www.principality-hutt-river.org/rhrdf/index.htm

I did receive an almost word for word request from another enthusiast with the same photo less than a week ago.
One of my interests is that I have, for some years now, been digitizing all that I can find concerning our past and present activities and assembling all into the PHR digital archives so now it is my turn to ask if you have any further information regarding the RHRAF at all, I would very much appreciate the information/photo’s/names etc so that I can record them into the archives.

As you can see in the RHRDF section of our website, we have nothing of the RHRAF, that section does not exist because all the info of that era is lost or at least has not come to light as yet. Whilst our Army and Navy has maintained an active existence for many years the air force was short lived simply because of no need for it and few members had any aircraft so the force was disbanded as it became something that people simply wanted for their own ego purposes, to be an air force officer.

I do have a couple of RHRAF wings in my collection, a scan of one is attached and in the PHR on-line stamp collection you can find a couple of special philatelic covers concerning the PHR air force, the catalogue is here:..

    http://principality-hutt-river.com/gov/Post/PHR_Stamp_Catalogue.htm
You will note the use of two names for our nation, Hutt River Province (Principality), the HRP being the name when we first seceded and before the Royal Family was established, the original position of Prince Leonard being the administrator. When it was decided to form the Royal Family (for legal reasons) the “Province” became a “Principality” so the nations name changed to the Principality of Hutt River. Unfortunately we were so well known as the HRP that we tended to continue using the original name, this led to a lot of confusion so a number of years ago it was decreed that the name to use must be the Principality of Hutt River ( PHR), unless historical context required the HRP to be used. You will see the two names used in the Military arena so early badges etc were of the HRP and newer of the PHR.

I trust that maybe I have provided a small amount of additional knowledge for you and I would very much appreciate any further info that you may have.
I would like to use this latest photo but would want the name of the photo owner if possible so that I can assign credit to it.

I look forward to hearing further from you.

    Regards
    Lord Baikie

    HUTT RIVER // continued..

the name ‘PROVINCE” was the first historic one, afterwards changed in Principality :

    according to wiki :

The micronation was founded on 21 April 1970 by Leonard Casley, who declared his farm to be an independent country under the name Hutt River Province. He attempted to secede from Australia over a dispute surrounding wheat production quotas. A few years later, Casley began styling himself Prince Leonard and granting family members royal titles, although he did not include the word “principality” in his country’s official name until 2006.

but the main question remains ‘open’ : what was the logo on the Fuji’s fuselage ??

    About this long thread… !!!

    and…. too crowded one !:apologetic:

because many pics are with foregrounds of soldiers, mecanics, crew, reporters, family members, casting actors, unknown guys,…

……….without any “who is who” explanations !!!

    Gerard was right in his post # 2559:{ “maybe we can change the name of this topic to “Dudes on photos with a little bit of aircraft behind it.”}

    see also the # 2010, 2011,& 2560….!!

up to page 200 ?? Why not … >>>> But then e.g. with only ‘in flight views’:angel:

    & about # 3479; wake up, Dear Webmaster and Administrators ( & have a fine week-end )

    sincerely & friendly,
