Crusader & ‘super’ – Crusader ;

I hate to be “that guy,” but that is not a Super Crusader. It’s just NASA’s F-8 test bed for the supercritical wing. The Super Crusader was known as the XF8U-3, and it was far more radical looking.

you’re right, Phantom II; my designation ‘super-Crusader’ was just my own quick & shortened version for “Super…wing” and Crusader 🙂

in fact I didn’t think then of the other REAL Super-Crusader, & so discovered it ;
