SOVIET (?) F-5
about post # 50
Hello , Sign,
after looking again to the TEEJ’s video (# 47), & comparing with your pic…,
..I conclude that your ‘russian’ one is quite different of the one(s) in the video !
The more I look to your pic(too fine to be of ‘then & there’..), the more I’m convinced your F-5 should be ;
– a version of the US ‘agressor squadron’..
– or ..one of an ‘old-timer’/’flying-vintage’ club,
– or … no more than a good scale-model view !!!
Please tell us THE truth 😀
But don’t worry; I wish you (in Russian/via Google) & to all the F-5 ‘readers ;

The ‘MANY’ missions of the CVN-65
Story Number: NNS120803-03Release Date: 8/3/2012 4:52:00 AM A A A By USS Enterprise Public AffairsUSS ENTERPRISE, At Sea (NNS) —
Aug. 3, marks the 50th anniversary of the first deployment of USS Enterprise (CVN 65), and historians recently discovered the actual number of deployments is higher than commonly reported.
As the 51-year-old carrier steams along today on its 25th and final deployment, researchers continue
to verify and cross reference important facts and milestones to ensure accuracy.
“It’s already exciting to be a part of Enterprise’s final deployment, but each day we are discovering more and more about
the rich history of which we are a part,” said Capt. William C. Hamilton, Enterprise’s commanding officer.
“We estimate over 200,000 Sailors and Marines have served aboard the Big E, and every one has helped in making her the legend we serve aboard today.
We are a very, very proud crew.”
ENTERPRISE made its maiden voyage under the command of Capt. Vincent P. DePoix, Jan. 12, 1962, conducting a three-month shakedown cruise.
In August, ENTERPRISE joined the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean. Soon after its return to Norfolk, Va., in October, ENTERPRISE was dispatched to its first international crisis.
THE 25 DEPLOYMENTS of the CVN-65
see this (not complete) list of 24 missions:

(the first one (Cuba-crisis) is not taken in the list )
‘ONLY’ :rolleyes: 25 deployments in 50 years ..? 😀
