Army aviation has retired the Allouettes. The Navy is still using them.

Aperture Sensations after releasing the Air Chief’s GoPro video has released two more PAF videos
One above is a redo of an old PAF song. It has some GoPro footage from the Combat Commanders School & new footage of PAF assets.

The second is a short video of the Sherdil’s performance on 23rd March featuring their takeoff, in initial run in and pull up, the final bomb burst & then landing.

Public announcement of the use of the Burraq UAV with an indigenous laser guided agm. The combination has been in use for some months now but this is the first public acknowledgement of this capability.

Denel’s Archer HMD has already been tested with the JF-17.

Btw Saffron Bandit is a biennial large force exercise of the PAF focused on what lies to our east not COIN. What Nirav alluded to was Zarb e Momin, a large force combined arms exercise with the army. This was again an India specific exercise not COIN. Oh & one Viper does a full pylon jettison due to a bird strike to get home & the sarcasm from ill-informed people with an axe to grind never ends.

Thanks Mountain for the pictorial clarification but I guess even this won’t be able to placate certain quarters.

That is a captive training missile! Powder blue color! Fighters usually only carry a single missile of this type. Facepalm!

So the people actually flying & maintaining the fighter are lying? The interview was with a person who has been with the program from the get go & is the OC of one of the squadrons actually flying the machine & is responsible for tactics development.
FYI go back a few years, PAF ordered & received 300 SD-10s with the first 50 aircraft & the only difference between the two variants visually is a tiny 10 cm in length. SD-10As were never ordered nor delivered so kindly clear this “misconception”
    Thanks.

The neighbors would be better served listening to the advice they gave Mountain a few days ago ie “Stick to your own country’s threads.”

If it goes through & if real, a really stupid move imo from logistics & financial pov. Enough said.

Frankly I don’t post on the IAF threads & I don’t care two whits what anybody else posts. I only like some civility around which does not seem to be so common here.

Ahem read again. I said a total of 20 aircraft were there including support & asked for Archer to wait till an article came out. He is the one who went on “No me want proof NOW!” When you act like this then there obviously is a slant if you guys cant see it meh.

Please send a memo to your countrymen Boom to refrain from harping on inanities with an obvious demeaning & ulterior slant.
    P.S
We weren’t discussing India but the behavior of a member of this forum. 🙂

    & Since when does Defensenews.com = Jane’s?

Well well looks like I pinched a nerve. Archer take the nonsensical drivel elsewhere like BR Forums. A total of 20 aircraft participated & Jane’s (if you subscribe & actually sat with people who read it) nowadays picks up a lot from the net & is wrong many times. It is no longer as good an authority as it used to be. Like another member said wait for any article by Warnes. Till then hold your horses. BTW I read the earlier posts & it was clear that every time a neighbor from the east jumps in the whole thread is demeaned & takes a nosedive. Nothing new there.
