    Right…as the moderator who locked the thread in question, my input:

    Some of you may well remember when the video in question first came to light on this forum (about 18 months ago) There was a great deal of heated discussion, and it was at the OFMC’s request that the clip was removed.

    I know very well there are thousands of copies of this clip available on the internet, and I know very well there is no way that all these copies can be deleted. However, as OFMC has already asked once for the clip and following discussion to be removed from THIS forum, following the heated discussion on this topic yet again, I have stepped in first.

    At Steve Patterson’s request, I put my decision to the other moderators of this forum, and all three of them have agreed that it should remain LOCKED.

    I have decided to lock this thread a) before this discussion gets even more heated, and b) to avoid any further potential hassle for OFMC.

    I have opted to lock it as opposed to delete it, as locking it like this gives me the opportunity to explain why I have locked it, and (hopefully) we will not then end up with a whole string of threads on “what happened to the low flying thread?”
